Club Membership

Joining our club is more than signing up for a season of rugby. It’s becoming part of a community that celebrates teamwork, resilience, and good fun on and off the pitch. Whether you’re a seasoned player, a total newbie, a sideline hype-squad member, or someone who just likes the idea of mud, friendship, and a good post-match pint, you’re in the right place.

Membership Types

The Club Membership grants you Supporter status.

  • A membership also grants access to our WhatsApp Community with exclusive updates, Player / Supporter chats, Social chats, and more content.

  • Access to our event organising group in the Spond app.

  • A discount card that can be used in participating venues in Brighton & Hove.

  • Preferential rates for Club events.

Membership fee £25 per annum
Membership expires at the end of the season each year

The Season Pass: Playing Add on, in conjunction with the Club Membership, grants unlimited eligibility to participate in training sessions, games, subject to selection. You are also granted Player status.

Season Pass for Players £220 per season, if starting after July
Season Pass for Players £110 per half season, if starting after January
Season Passes expire at the end of the season each year. Half Season Passes can only be purchased between January and June.

Low Income Support

We offer concession discounts for individuals that are eligible for low income support. All prices listed are discounted by 50%. For more information and eligibility, please contact the Membership Officer.

Registration Process

The registration process differs depending on the payment method. We accept payment via bank transfer for full amounts, or card payments in seven instalments.

Enrol with the Club on GMS

Regardless of the payment option, you will be required to enrol with the club on GMS

  • Navigate to GMS and create an account if you don’t have one

  • Log in to GMS

  • Enrol with Brighton & Hove Sea Serpents

  • Register as a Player (if you intend to participate in games and purchase a Season Pass)


Please ensure that you provide the correct information and agree with the terms and conditions. This is essential for us, so that we are able to communicate with you regarding membership.

Making a Payment - Lump Sum

Paying by bank transfer as a lump sum

You may pay the full amount by making a bank transfer to the Club’s account. For information, please contact the Membership Officer.

Making a Payment - Instalments

Paying in instalments by card

After logging in on GMS, ensure that you have enrolled with the Brighton & Hove Sea Serpents.

  • Select the option to buy a membership and select the desired membership type.

  • You may select to also add the Season Pass: Playing Add on, if you intend to participate in games and require unlimited eligibility for playing competitive games with the team, subject to selection.

  • Add either the Membership, or both the Membership and Season Pass to your Basket.

  • Go to your Basket.

  • Select “Pay in instalments”.

  • Ensure that you are happy with the day of the month that your payments will be collected.

  • Continue and enter your card details.

  • Complete the purchase.
